WHAT DOES THE STUDIO HAVE
BACKDROP/PROP OPTIONS
I have hundreds of backdrop options from more traditional to very detailed sets. When submitting your paperwork, if you specify something, I will make sure to have that ready. If you don't have any idea what you want, I usually pull a couple ideas based on what you submitted and have those ready on session day.
DRESSES
I have dresses in all sizes from 12 months-14/16 and 1-26 adult.
OUTFITS
I have various outfits for more themed photos ages newborn to age 6. Please ask if there is something in particular that you're wanting.

DURING THE SESSION
During the session we will do a couple sets based on which session you chose.
We will use our first couple of minutes going over which things work best for your child(ren). We will order the drops in which you like them and work through our time together.
BRIBERY
Depending on the age of the child(ren), sometimes having small snacks and a drink handy is great. Pick snacks that have no coloring. Puffs and water or Sweetarts and apple juice are just some options. I am usually against bribery, but some of the best photos come when the child knows they will get something in return. Common ideas: candy that is waiting in the car, McDonalds, or ice cream. For younger ones, instant bribery is great, like small candies (or puffs).
This information is for the 'planning' moms. If that's not you, that's totally fine, show up with your kids, we will have a good time and get some great photos.
CHILD SESSION INFORMATION
AFTER THE SESSION
A few days after the session, a sneak peek will be available on social media. These images will have my logo on them and if you’re friends with Clear Photography-Owatonna, you will get tagged. Feel free to use these images as profile photos or share.
About a week after your session, you will receive an email with a link to your gallery where you can download images and/or place photo orders. The email will explain downloading. You’re free to share this email with anyone you would like.

PREPPING FOR YOUR SESSION
Some of the best photos come out of a little planning. Below is some helpful tips.
OUTFITS
It's best to think of what look you're trying to achieve when picking out outfits. Try to bring whole outfits with shoes. How many outfits to bring, depends on the age of the child and the session you chose. Some kids do really well changing multiple times, others it's better to just change the backdrop and keep the same outfit. Try to get clothing without words or super busy patterns as they distract.
If you have your outfits all picked out, send me a quick photo in messenger or by email. This helps me plan outfits/backdrop options for you.
OH NO MY KID HAS A BRUISE
It happens, all the time, a scratch, cut, bump or bruise right on the face. If you're concerned, send me a quick photo and I will be able to let you know if it's photoshop-able. Rule of thumb, if it's not near the eyes or lips it will probably be fine. If your child has a scratch or bruise, don't try to cover with make up, generally their skin is lighter and the make up will have a different texture then the rest of their skin.
SICK
My child(ren) is sick. It happens, especially in the winters here. Please let me know as soon as you cannot make it. I offer one free reschdule to an open spot in my schedule within 30 days of the original date. (At least 24 hour notice is needed and NO reschedules for mini sessions)
CAKE SMASHES
I DON'T supply food items such as a cake, donuts or other food smash items. Please make sure, if you want to include this in your session, you bring it.
